A baby jumper is just as the name says. Your baby will sit in a seat which is attached to an elastic strap and uses his toes to push off the ground to give an up and down motion to delight them. It’s a fun activity for your infant to use while he is still developing the leg muscles. Baby jumpers are also known as Jumperoo or Exersaucer.
Although all created with the same purpose, there are a few types of infant jumper:
These infant jumper comes with a frame with a seat connected to an elastic cord. In addition to that, the seat is surrounded with colorful toys as well as fun music to stimulate and encourage motor movement, hand eye coordination and their senses.
Also known as baby door jumper, the seat is attached to an elastic cable that is attached to your door frames and act like a bungee swing. Some of the features of these jumpers may include; fabric seat with built in frame that surround the child, rubberized sides tray to act as a bumper; non twist straps; or mark free door clamp so it won’t leave any mark on your doors.
Warning: there are cases where doorway jumpers have been recalled due to broken plastic clamp, causing babies to fall or the cord detaching from the clamp. You are advised to do your own research before buying any baby door jumper.
